How do your milestone billing and engagement structures work?
We structure projects under clear, deliverable-linked milestones. Typically, an engagement commences with an initial commitment deposit (e.g., 25–35%), followed by progress milestone payments tied to verifiable staging builds (e.g., Alpha Release, Beta Release), and a final balance upon formal production deployment and sign-off. For ongoing requirements, we provide dedicated engineering retainers billed on a predictable monthly cadence.
Who owns the intellectual property (IP) of the software created?
You do. Upon settlement of invoices corresponding to each project milestone, all intellectual property, source code, design assets, database schemas, and documentation are formally and irrevocably assigned to your corporate entity. We sign standard bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and IP assignment covenants prior to starting work.
What currencies and payment methods do you accept?
We accommodate both local and international clients seamlessly. We accept payments in US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), Nigerian Naira (NGN), and Canadian Dollars (CAD). What is your refund and cancellation policy?
We operate with total transparency. If a project is cancelled prior to work commencing, deposits are refunded less any nominal administrative onboarding costs. Once milestone sprints are active, billing is tied to approved deliverables. If a deliverable fails to satisfy agreed technical specifications, we provide mandatory revision cycles. If requirements cannot be met, unearned milestone balances are refunded according to our published Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Do you offer post-launch support and code warranties?
Yes. Every custom software project delivered by Masanawa includes a complimentary 60 to 90-day comprehensive bug warranty. During this period, any technical defect or variance from approved specifications is rectified immediately at zero additional cost. Following the warranty window, clients can transition into our ongoing SLA maintenance and infrastructure support retainers.
